Why Tracking Needs to Be Turned On for Games & Offers

What the heck is “tracking,” you might ask? Well, tracking on your mobile device is the ability of an app to track what you are doing on your phone. This can include things like websites & app activity, location, and other digital spaces you may visit. Companies use tracking to provide more targeted advertising, measure advertising effectiveness, and (in our case) measure your progress through games.
Why Do You Need To Turn Tracking On?
The first and most important question is why we need you to turn on tracking. The simple answer? To make you more money! We use tracking so we can monitor your progress on games & offers and reward you appropriately.
For example, to reward you with $20 by reaching level 30, we use tracking to see what level you’re on. You actually want to collect your rewards, right? Then you want to turn on tracking and LEAVE it on!
How Do I Turn on Tracking?
Another super important question to answer is how to actually turn on tracking. For iOS and Android users, this may look a little different.
iOS Users
- Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
- Turn ON “Allow Apps to Request to Track”
- When you open up the app you want to allow tracking on, you should get a prompt asking if you want to allow that app to track your data. Hit “Allow” and we will be able to track your progress through the game!
Android Users
- Open Google Chrome on your Android Device.
- At the right of the address bar, hit More Settings
- Click on Privacy & Security
- Click on Send a “Do Not Track” Request
- Turn the setting OFF (Note: It sounds backwards to be turning this setting off, but we promise this is correct!)
After you’ve turned tracking on, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the game. Check your In Progress tab to see if the game appears. As a reminder, please leave tracking on to make sure your reward progress is being tracked!
How to Know if Tracking is Working… and What to Do If It Isn’t
To know if tracking is actually working, here’s what you should do:
- Go to the “In Progress” section of your account on kashkick.com
- If tracking is working, you will see your game or offer in this section
- Once you reach your first-tier reward, you should see credits on your account. If you don’t receive any credits, reach out to our Support Team ASAP!
If you don’t see your game or offer under the “In Progress” section a few hours after installation, don’t continue to invest time in the game or offer. Stop playing; try the following actions to make sure tracking is turned on:
- Disable any VPN or Proxy
- Second, make sure you haven’t previously downloaded the game. Most of our offers are valid for new players.
- Uninstall & re-install the game to see if it now appears in the “In Progress” section
- If all else fails, please contact our support team ASAP and they will help you through your issue.
Here is how you can contact support:
- Sign in to your KashKick account
- Tap your profile picture in the top right
- Go to Support
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, click on “Contact Support” and fill out the form. Someone from our support team will contact you to get to the bottom of your issue ASAP.
