Meet one of KashKick’s very early hires, Bhavesh Kothiya.
As KashKick’s first developer, Bhavesh has played a critical role in shaping the online rewards and loyalty platform you know today.
When he joined the team in January 2022, KashKick operated on a completely different framework. One of Bhavesh’s first tasks was to upgrade the entire backend system.
The result? A smoother, more powerful platform capable of supporting millions of members who earn rewards for playing games, taking surveys and claiming deals.
But Bhavesh’s work didn’t stop there.
He went on to help ideate and build out Besitos Marketplace, a business channel that helps other companies grow, especially in the mobile gaming and fintech spaces.
KashKick CEO Jeevan Balani called Besitos Marketplace “transformative” in a recent interview.
“I’m incredibly proud of how the business has evolved,” he said. “We identified a clear gap in the market where brands were looking for the kind of retention and monetization KashKick excels at, but tailored to their own ecosystems. Besitos now powers those experiences behind the scenes, enabling our partners to build deeper, more meaningful user engagement on their own terms.”
Bhavesh has been equally thrilled to be a part of the company’s growth.
“When we started working with the first company, we were very excited,” he said. “We were thinking, ‘If we get two or three more, that’s fantastic.’ One-and-a-half years later, we work with 40+ companies. It’s unbelievable.”
The American Cancer Society (ACS) is one of those organizations. Through the Play It Forward program, ACS receives matching donations when gamers earn rewards through KashKick.
“This technology has taken many forms, but seeing it serve the American Cancer Society is its most meaningful chapter yet,” Bhavesh shared. “It’s an honor to know my work is helping power such an important mission.”
Since joining the team, Bhavesh has relocated from India to Tampa, Florida, with his wife and now 4-year-old daughter. When he’s not working, you can probably find him on the pickleball court—he plays nearly every day!
